Q: What is Lenovations Press?

A: Lenovations Press is an independent comic book publisher founded in 2014 by writer and creator Len Mihalovich. Our goal is to tell fun, fast-paced stories across genres-from superhero and sci-fi to western and satire-with a focus on character-driven storytelling and indie creator collaborations.

Q: What is Section 12?

A: Section 12 is our flagship series. It follows a covert government team tasked with cleaning up the fallout from failed scientific experiments-often involving people with unstable or dangerous powers. The series blends action, conspiracy, and dark humor across multiple timelines and volumes.

Q: How many Section 12 titles are there?

A: So far, the Section 12 universe includes:

  • Section 12 (Lost Adventures) - The untold stories
  • Section 12 (Flashback) - The original 1990s missions
  • Section 12 (Declassified) - Modern-day investigations
  • Section 12 (Antarctic Special) - Crossover mini-series with Tomorrow Girl

Q: What other comics do you publish?

A: In addition to Section 12, we've published:

  • The Adventures of Track Suit Man (humor/parody)
  • Fantastic FanBoys Adventures (all-ages nostalgia)
  • RedMask Rides Again (revived Golden Age western)
  • Avenger (New Blood) (modern take on a pulp hero)
  • Wild West Adventures of Buffalo Bill (weird western)

Q: Where can I read or buy your comics?

A: If you can't catch us at a comic show try one of these great online locations.

You can also find our titles listed on Comic Vine (www.comicvine.gamespot.com), Grand Comics Database (www.comics.org), and League of Comic Geeks (www.leagueofcomicgeeks.com).

Q: Do your comics appear in any crossovers?

A: Yes! We've collaborated with a number of indie publishers and projects. Some highlights include:

  • Antarctic Press - Tomorrow Girl #13 and Section 12 (Antarctic Special)
  • G-Man Comics - Nite-Fall appeared in the Endless Summer Tour
  • Don Simpson - Fantastic FanBoys appear in Megaton Man: Multimensions
  • And many other small press collaborations-we love bringing '90s indie characters (like FlyGuy and Nun-Troll) back to life!

Q: Who works on these comics?

A: Most titles are written by founder Len Mihalovich. Frequent collaborators include artist Phil Miller, along with a rotating team of indie talents who contribute art, covers, and guest stories.

Q: How often do you release new comics?

A: We aim to release 3–5 issues per year, balancing ongoing series and new one-shots. Our website, Patreon, and social media are the best places to stay updated on our release schedule.

Join our Patreon-there's even a free tier: www.patreon.com/lenovationspress

Q: How can I follow Lenovations Press?

A:

  • Our Website - for our latest release schedules
  • Our YouTube Channel - comic overviews, backstories, and more
  • Our Patreon - inside looks, exclusive previews
  • Social Media: Look for @lenovationspress on most platforms - all the news as it happens

Q: What makes Lenovations Press comics different?

A: At Lenovations Press, we treat every single issue like it matters-because it does. Each comic is created with its own identity, purpose, and tone. No two issues are the same, and almost every one has an interesting backstory-whether it's an abandoned concept from the '90s, a late-night inspiration, or a crossover years in the making.

We commit our time, money, and creative energy into every release, ensuring there are no filler issues or half-hearted efforts. Every comic we publish earns its place in the lineup.

Q: Can I submit my comic or artwork to Lenovations Press?

A: We are not currently accepting unsolicited comic submissions or pitches-but we love engaging with fans and fellow creators.

If you'd like to send us fan art, we absolutely encourage it! We've featured fan submissions on our website and even inside printed comics.

Our Fantastic FanBoys Adventures series regularly hires guest artists for one-page assignments. These are paid gigs and a great way for emerging artists to earn a published portfolio credit. Occasionally, we've selected artists directly from fan art submissions.

So while we discourage traditional art portfolios or comic pitches, fan art is always welcome-and sometimes, it leads to something more.
